We provide education, resources and programs throughout the nation. We are leaders in ensuring expert Parkinson’s care, educating and empowering the Parkinson’s community and driving the understanding of Parkinson’s through research. As a national organization with local presence and impact, we bring help and hope to the estimated one million people in the U.S., 10 million worldwide, who are living with Parkinson’s.

I’m unable to give a rating since I was unable to volunteer for this event due to personal reasons. However, since I can skip the rating of this organization, I will at least give it 4 stars

They were prepared and organized. communication was clear and effective. Emails were sent out regularly with updates so we understood what to expect on the day of the event

My grandma has Parkinson’s disease, she is about 75 years old it was detected 7 years ago. Right now it’s getting more difficult to live for her, because of stiff muscles she can’t even move. L-dopa and carbidopa medicines are given, but won"t give much relief. She can"t eat food and the skin is damaging forming ganglia. I thought this might be the last stage and the medications she was given did not help at all, so I started to do alot of research on natural treatments, I was introduced to Health Natural Centre in Hawaii U.S and their Parkinson’s Herbal Protocol. She started on the Parkinson’s Treatment last year, her symptoms gradually diminished including her Tremors, Body Weakness and Muscle Pains. Reach them at healthnaturalcentre.org , She is getting active again since starting this treatment, she is able to walk again ( down the street and back ) and able to ride her treadmill again!

It was very fun working at the Parkinson's Move event! I enjoyed helping at the different stations and loved the enthusiasm radiating in the crowd.
