A Child for All ("ACFA") is a U.S. non-profit organization with current operations in Bamako, the capital of Mali in West Africa. ACFA provides a safe and loving environment for vulnerable children who had been living on the streets. Twelve children were welcomed into the home that our founder grew up in and they receive the nourishment, education, health care and attention necessary to thrive. Having been a vulnerable child in Mali herself, ACFA’s founder possesses a unique understanding of how to alleviate the dislocation and hopelessness that these children experience. ACFA provides the foundation for these children to grow and become empowered to achieve the futures they deserve.

Given the growing number of vulnerable children in the area, ACFA has recently opened the Zorokoro Children's Complex in the village of Zorokoro with a goal of helping 100 more vulnerable children. Only 45 minutes from Bamako, the Zorokoro Children’s Complex now has a dormitory where seven toddlers ages 3-5 are living with room for 18 more children. The first three classrooms of the ACFA school are built and the school will soon open for pre-K and kindergarten for the ACFA toddlers as well as children from the surrounding villages. Additionally, plans for a healthcare clinic, a library and computer lab and a sports complex are underway. ACFA's vision to empower Mali's children to achieve a future they deserve is only continued by the work of our supporters and volunteers across the globe.

About A Child For All Inc. ACFA Inc

21 Arbor LN, Stafford, VA 22554, US

Mission Statement

ACFA provides Mali's vulnerable children a safe and loving environment which fosters their health, learning, happiness, and success.

Our current goals are two folds:

We initally intended to raise enough funds to rent a house of the vulnerable children. Instead, thanks to donors like yourself, a house has been donated to us, hence we don't need to spend our scarce financial resources on rent. WE WILL OPEN DOORS TO MALIAN VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN JUNE 2010.

Long term goal: In the long term we would raise enough funds to build our own orphanage on our piece of property.
