Throughline Theatre Company is an all-volunteer organization looking to fill it's open position of Marketing Director. While we are currently dark due to Covid-19, we are looking to add someone to our 6-person staff to help acquaint them to our policies prior to re-opening. Once re-open, duties include:
1.) General operation and oversight of Marketing
2.) Schedule and manage monthly Marketing meetings (currently all virtual).
a. Send agenda prior to
b. Run meeting
c. Send notes to all once meeting has occurred
3.) Set up all Facebook events
a. Shows
b. Auditions
c. Fundraisers
d. Additional Events
4.) Order posters and other print media for all events and distribute them to the company, board, and casts (currently N/A).
5.) Attend Meet-and-Greets of all shows (currently N/A).
6.) Order and/or create designs to be used for all Throughline shows and events, or coordinate to design with other members of the company/team.
7.) Update website with all images and designs, audition and show information, blogs, photos, and other Marketing items.
8.) Record monthly Patreon videos.
9.) Collect monthly Patreon blogs from company members and other contributors.
10.) Update Program Ad request form and upload to the company website (currently N/A).
11.) Solicit and acquire program ads when possible (currently N/A).
12.) Attend biweekly Management meetings (currently all virtual).

Mission Statement
The mission of Throughline Theatre Company is to demonstrate the existence of common themes throughout literary history that bridge generations and bring into perspective the constancy of the human condition. We achieve this by presenting a series of plays each season from disparate time periods, notably Classical, 20th Century, Contemporary and New works, finding a throughline that bridges generations of theatrical experience.
Description
The very existence of Throughline Theatre Company is in and of itself something of a long shot coming in. A majority of founding members met in college. Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina was the starting point where Tina, Sean, Liam, Briana, and Lauren all first came together, each finding their own love for and place in theatre under the guidance of the same instructors. Ursula was introduced to the group when she and Sean met doing summer outdoor drama at The Lost Colony. Lauren and Liam, being the Pittsburgh natives, gravitated back to their home town after graduation. The rest of the group came to Pittsburgh to workshop a small production of a play Liam had written, a production that turned into a sort of experiment or test run for bigger and better things.
The experiment was a modest but undeniable success, enough so that the thought of launching a Company of our own became a more realistic dream than it perhaps had initially seemed. Encouraged by these initial steps, the group settled in the area on a more permanant basis. It was here doing local theatre that the team was fortunate enough to meet Ryan, completing the seven member core. It took ten years from when the first of us first met, a large helping of stubborn resolve, and an equal portion of compromise, but we are pleased to present Throughline Theatre Company.

REQUIREMENTS
- With the exception of meetings (up to 3x a month, 1-2 hours per meeting), this is a position that will have deadlines, but can be done entirely on your own time. You can work us into your schedule as it works for you!
- We are seeking someone to join our staff who is friendly, outgoing, and willing to help us get the word out about our company! Throughline Theatre consists of an all-volunteer staff, and are looking for someone to join our family of friends.
