Student Virtual Volunteering, The Longest Day Committee (Central New York)!
Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter
Are you a student who wants or needs volunteer experience? Are you outgoing, creative, love to think outside of the box? Do you want to get more involved in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease? If you answered yes, we need your help!
The Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter is looking for virtual volunteers to help us spread the word about our newest national signature event, The Longest Day (r). You are invited to join The Longest Day Team Task Force where you will play a vital role in team recruitment and cultivation, as well as marketing and promoting the event.
While we metaphorically focus on The Longest Day being the day with the most light - the summer solstice, June 21, we help others fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through fundraising activities any day of the year. Together, with creativity and passion, you can help us raise awareness and funds for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
For more information about this exciting volunteer opportunity, please contact Megan Wright at 315-330-6019 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
