The ED Ambassador acts as a liaison between the patient/visitor and the hospital in order to determine and help resolve patients’ non-medical needs and concerns during their ED visit. The purpose of this Volunteers role is to provide comfort and compassionate listening while protecting patient confidentiality. Must have a positive outlook while interacting with patients and staff and promote good public relations within the community.

Description
Volunteer Services is currently seeking adult and student volunteers. We currently have 3 categories of volunteers: High School, at least 16 years old and a Sophomore, College and Adults, adults, primarily not in school. When applying, please indicate which category you are.
