Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the Orange County Emergency Volunteer Center (EVC) has been activated to support immediate volunteer needs, including hands-on and virtual opportunities during this disaster.

JOYA Scholars mission is to inspire and prepare students from families of low-income communities in Fullerton to succeed through higher education. We accomplish this by supporting students through one-on-one mentoring, academic tutoring, educational workshops, parent academy, campus visits, SAT prep, JOYA Scholars comes alongside junior high and high school students to fill a relational and knowledgeable gap for students and their families for whom the school can be a confusing and intimidating process to navigate.

During this time, JOYA Scholars is partnering with our sister non-profit, Solidarity, to provide care packages to help support the families during this time.

We need your help delivering Care Packages to Low-Income Families from the Garnet & Maple Neighborhoods in Fullerton as many low-income and immigrant families in Fullerton are not able to work and provide for their families because of the effects of COVID-19.

Deliveries: M/W/F, 12-1pm. You can choose which day works best for you. Do not have to sign up for all days/times. Please click, "EXPRESS INTEREST" below for more information.



This volunteer opportunity would require you to have your own vehicle to drive and pick up our care packages from our office and then deliver them to a family household. (CDC recommended precautions will be followed throughout the process)
