Location of the Distribution: COLLEGE OF LAKE COUNTY - 19351 W. Washington Street, Grayslake, IL
Volunteers will arrive at 1:15 PM, which is 45 minutes prior to the distribution time. The shift will end at 5:30 PM, 30 minutes after distribution is scheduled to end.
Distribution to our neighbors will be from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
Volunteers MUST wear a MASK and GLOVES during the entire Pop-Up Market shift. Volunteers.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MASK. Gloves will be provided to each volunteer by the Food Bank.
THIS EVENT WILL BE OUTSIDE! Dress for the weather - bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, a raincoat, jacket and gloves, etc.
Wear appropriate shoes as you will be on your feet the entire time. There are no sit-down tasks.

Did you know 1 in 8 of our neighbors in northern Illinois face hunger? 1 in 5 kids in northern Illinois face hunger struggles as well. Northern Illinois Food Bank acquires donated food from retailers, local and national manufacturers, farmers, individuals, businesses, the federal government and also purchases additional products. Northern Illinois Food Bank then delivers the food to our network partners for distribution to hungry neighbors. We currently work with 900 network partners in 13 counties to help feed those in need. Volunteer, donate, and get involved in our feeding hungry neighbors today!
