Overview of Role: The Winnebago Community Market was opened to provide nutritious food to our community, according to our research on priority counties in Northern Illinois. Our volunteers for these Markets allow us to continue to grow these programs, feeding even more of our northern Illinois neighbors. Each Market needs approximately 10-15 volunteers in order to serve these populations most effectively. Requirements: Interested volunteers should be comfortable interacting with others and must wear closed-toe shoes in order to participate. Age: Volunteers should be at least 13 years old. Any volunteers under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
