Do you enjoy a little spotlight? Sharing your knowledge with a group of interested visitors? Answering questions about what makes Wilmington so special? Offering stories to make history come alive?
As one of three Wilmington historic homes open for public tours, the Latimer House is fully furnished with period antiques and vintage clothing, offering a snapshot of life from the mid 19th century into the 20th century. Giving a tour here means discussing local Victorian era history that stretches into the present day.
We are eagerly seeking tour volunteers and can work with your schedule - daily, weekly, or occasionally during our operating hours of Tuesday through Sunday, 10am - 3pm.
For more, email us at manager@latimerhouse.org or call 910 508 1038.
