Are you looking for ways to help everyone have their voice heard in the upcoming election? Then CARECEN’s Get Out the Vote Campaign is a perfect volunteer opportunity for you. We are seeking volunteers that have excellent communication skills that are comfortable contacting potential voters on Long Island over the phone. Your tasks will be to collect information using a ready-made non-partisan script, asking potential voters (1) how they plan to vote and (2) their language preference.
All that is required is that you have access to a phone and computer. Everyone interested will be given background information and a short training on how to conduct the calls. Spanish language proficiency is great, but not required.
Scheduling can be flexible. Calls can be done anytime between 9am and 9pm EST. Weekly commitment through mid-November is not required, but definitely preferred. We greatly appreciate any time you can give!
*You do not have to be based in Long Island, NY*
