COVID-19 Help: Family Services Helper

Select any Monday thru Friday, 8:45am-12:15pm. 2-3 volunteers needed every day.
Drive-Thru Food Box Distribution is an outside activity.
Volunteers will help with check-in. Clients will remain in car and hold food card near window. Volunteers will scan bar code and record info.
Walk-Thru Food Box Distribution is an outside activity.
Clients (many Seniors) do not have vehicles or are unable to drive and need to pick-up food using grocery carts or walkers. Volunteer will record card number during check-in. Clients and volunteers must always wear face masks. Clients waiting in line will use social distancing protocol.
From time to time volunteers may be asked to help inside the Family Services Office. Will include one or more of the following: filing, making labels, answering phones, taking messages, issue clothing vouchers, data entry and making copies. Also may help verify documents and make temporary food cards. Age Requirement: 17 or older.
CDC Social distancing guidelines, coughing/sneezing etiquette, face mask usage all required.
Food assistance requests in the Family Services Office have doubled since during COVID-19. Volunteers are needed to help with food box distribution drive-thru and walk-thru for smoother and safer distribution to families, Seniors and homeless.
