Suncrest Hospice is looking for office volunteers to join the Suncrest Team! Suncrest Hospice provides care and support to our hospice patients and their families in their homes! We serve families in Alameda, San Francisco, San Mateo, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara Counties.
The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team: nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain, and volunteers, we help the patient and family walk through their journey.
If you are task-oriented, enjoy customer service, and like working in a friendly office environment then volunteering in an office capacity with Suncrest Hospice may be a good fit for you. As an administrative volunteer, you would assist with operational responsibilities in offices. These responsibilities may include data entry, filing, copying, organizing, and other clerical assignments. Other administrative tasks may include projects and special event assistance. For this position, you would solely file in patients' records.
Volunteers are trained in their role with patients, we are required to conduct background checks and TB testing, at no charge to all volunteers.
We are responsible and ask that everyone in the office wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
Please contact the office at 408-900-8838 for more information.
This opportunity is for our Walnut Creek office and all training will be held in our Fremont office.
