Path with Art is looking for 10 tech-savvy volunteers to assist in our transition to distance learning during the COVID-19 outbreak. Our classes are typically held in-person, and we are needing to support our participants in staying connected to community in this time of social distancing. We are working to provide tablets (Amazon Fire) for our participants who do not already have access to a device so they can connect to essential resources, and maintain access to creative community.

This opportunity will include remotely helping PwA set up internet for students, phone tech support for students, and in-class tech support for Teaching Artists and students. Seeking one assigned tech volunteer in each class (6) and 4 who can be on call to assist as needed.


On-call Tech Support:

  • Internet set-up for students
  • Direct tech support for students (1:1 phone calls)
  • Support prepping new laptops/tablets for students (installing Zoom or other required software)
  • Potentially -- assistance with moderation and support for Student forum


Classroom Tech Support (Creative Mentors):

  • Phone calls to students, 1:1 support
  • Tech support
  • Assistance in class set-up (files, images, video, etc.)
  • Attendance
  • Participation in video classes (2 hours / week)
  • Following up with students to encourage participation
  • Following up with assignments
