DYKB, Inc. seeks an experienced grant writer to research, write, prepare, submit, manage, and coordinate grant applications and proposals to potential sponsors such as foundations, government, and corporate sources.
The grant writer will review, develop, and oversee the grant budgets for all local and global DYKB programs and projects and recommend how to present them to potential sponsors with final approval from the DYKB President. The grant writer will also report directly to DYKB President consistently on a weekly basis to provide grant status updates.
We are looking for a grant writer who has strong writing skills, is detail-oriented, and has a successful record of accomplishment of securing grants from various sources.

From "Science Fair’s", that focus on the developing the next generation of Climate Change Specialists, to Drone Engineers, to State and City Officials that seek to improve our community. History: 6+ years Project Design & Management (Aloha One Love Festival -3 Years, Solano Artist Showcase- 6 Month Contract, Live Music Events 3 Cities Northern California), 6+ Years Team Building and Logistics (Sales Trainer 6+ Years, Customer Service Trainer 4+ Years), 10+ Years Coaching Youth Sports in Solano County (Basketball Head Coach - 1 Season, Football Asst Coach - 1 Season, D Coordinator - 2 Seasons, Head Coach - 1 Season). Small Business Owner (Vendor in California for 8+ Years, Record Label Owner)
Goals: To support the youth population in a way that advances their ability to affect the communities they are in. Not be a victim to the situations around them, but to grow together and share ideas, then put them into action. Ideas that have an organization behind them to help lift them up and lend support in the areas they need. To teach them how to overcome situations, how to research and develop a plan of action, and be a strong positive influence on others around them. Our overall goal is to grow strong young leaders that have the mindset to tackle the task at hand, talk a friend out of a bad choice, see someone’s vision and be willing to support it for the greater good. At the end of the day, greatness is only determined by service and we are here to serve.
