We are looking for Board members that fit the following Board needs: Fundraising/philanthropy, Legal/HR skills or Finance. Board meetings are scheduled the third Thursday of every month from 7:30-9am (we are dark for August and December). The annual give/get is at least $5,300 a year.
We are in the midst of a strategic plan through 2023 that will impact kids for generations to come in North County through Board leadership, a capital campaign and innovative curriculum design. This is an important job where you can directly take on a Board leadership role and help to motivate committee members to help working parents and shaping great futures.
The Boys & Girls Club of Vista offers access to affordable afterschool and summer enrichment programs helping to enable Club members to reach their full potential. We offer a positive and fun place of refuge for all kids ages 5-18 with programs focusing on academic success, character development and healthy lifestyles. As a Board member, you will learn and grow on a personal level through professional development and team building opportunities as a means to hone your leadership skills.
Please send us a short bio for future consideration.
