Veteran Volunteers are needed in the Tucson area to help us honor our Veteran Patients. Due to Covid-19, in-person visits are currently limited, but there are other ways to help. We provide all training around your schedule, and reimburse mileage.
As both parties are comfortable, Veteran Volunteers will visit Veteran Patients for one-time pinning ceremonies, or on an ongoing basis for companionship. This much-needed service helps honor patients who are dealing with a terminal illness, and who would benefit from the connection and understanding that only another Veteran can bring. Due to current restrictions, Veterans can also help in other ways, including virtual recognition ceremonies.
