ORGANIZATION: CIVIC WORKS

We raise up the voices of individuals who are kidnapped or imprisoned by authoritarian regimes. We may connect to people on the ground or families, write their stories or try to do what is most important to them.

Often this involves publishing information or pushing it out on social media. We need volunteers in particular to help raise the stories on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit and other forums, in particular in the context of business or government activity in the region.

civ.works is a privacy protected social platform built for meaningful civic action.

The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
