Do you like helping cats and dogs? Do you like helping people in need of services to help their pets? Do you have time from 6am-7:30am, 4:30pm-6pm or 10am-2pm Wednesdays? Then we are the opportunity you have been looking for! We need help with check in and out on surgeries days from 6am-8am or 4:30pm-6pm. Even if you are only available one day a week or once a month we can use your help. We do not provide court ordered community service. We are following strict COVID protocol and are social distancing and wearing mask as a team. We are a small office of three so our volunteers keep us going! I look forward to speaking with you if you are interested in helping the WeSNiP team.

About Whatcom Education Spay & Neuter Impact Program

Location:

2505 Cedarwood Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225, US

Mission Statement

The mission of the Whatcom Education, Spay & Neuter Impact Program (WeSNiP) is to provide companion animal spay and neuter services to the low-income. We seek to do this by providing dogs and cats surgeries to clients on public assistance or for whom cost is a deterrent to spaying and neutering their pets. We strive to treat our clients, staff, and volunteers with empathy and respect, and our patients with compassion, kindness, and the best quality service possible. We hope to measurably decrease the numbers of companion animals entering our shelter system, thereby decreasing the euthanasia of adoptable pets, working toward a goal of a loving home for every pet.

Description

The WeSNiP program was created to provide high-quality spay and neuter service to low income pet owners.
