Whatcom Education Spay & Neuter Impact Program

  • 1 person is interested

Do you like helping cats and dogs? Do you like helping people in need of services to help their pets? Or helping feral cats? Do you have time from 10am-2pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays each week for at least six months? Then we are the opportunity you have been looking for! We need help at our administrative office to answer our phones. Even if you are only available one of the days a week we can use your help. This position will help pre-qualify clients for spay and neuter services for their pets. We are following strict COVID protocol and are social distancing and wearing mask as a team. We are a small office of three so our volunteers keep us going! I look forward to speaking with you if you are interested in helping the WeSNiP team.

About Whatcom Education Spay & Neuter Impact Program

Mission Statement

The mission of the Whatcom Education, Spay & Neuter Impact Program (WeSNiP) is to provide companion animal spay and neuter services to the low-income. We seek to do this by providing dogs and cats surgeries to clients on public assistance or for whom cost is a deterrent to spaying and neutering their pets. We strive to treat our clients, staff, and volunteers with empathy and respect, and our patients with compassion, kindness, and the best quality service possible. We hope to measurably decrease the numbers of companion animals entering our shelter system, thereby decreasing the euthanasia of adoptable pets, working toward a goal of a loving home for every pet.

The WeSNiP program was created to provide high-quality spay and neuter service to low income pet owners.

We'll work with your schedule.
