The mission of the Whatcom Education, Spay & Neuter Impact Program (WeSNIP) is to provide companion animal spay and neuter services to the low-income and working poor. We seek to do this by providing free surgeries to those on public assistance, and low-cost surgeries to clients for whom cost is a deterrent to spaying and neutering their pets. We strive to treat our clients, staff, and volunteers with empathy and respect, and our patients with compassion, kindness, and the best quality of medicine possible. We hope to measurably decrease the numbers of companion animals entering our shelter system, thereby decreasing the euthanasia of adoptable pets, working toward a goal of a loving home for every pet.
The WeSNIP program was created to provide high-quality spay and neuter service to low income pet owners.
