The mission of the Whatcom Education, Spay & Neuter Impact Program (WeSNiP) is to provide companion animal spay and neuter services to the low-income. We seek to do this by providing dogs and cats surgeries to clients on public assistance or for whom cost is a deterrent to spaying and neutering their pets. We strive to treat our clients, staff, and volunteers with empathy and respect, and our patients with compassion, kindness, and the best quality service possible. We hope to measurably decrease the numbers of companion animals entering our shelter system, thereby decreasing the euthanasia of adoptable pets, working toward a goal of a loving home for every pet.
The WeSNiP program was created to provide high-quality spay and neuter service to low income pet owners.
