Volunteers with their own vehicle are needed to help pick up boxed meals provided by the Lucky Duck Foundation. Meals are picked up from the Community Through Hope Warehouse in Chula Vista then dropped off at the Imperial Beach Neighborhood Center for distribution to individuals who are homeless. Volunteers will also be asked to help bag meals for the McAlister Institue to be distributed to individuals who are homeless in Chula Vista. Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Shifts: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, starting at 8:30am Get Started: Contact Jose' at (619) 373-2283 to confirm availability. Confirming schedule pick-up and delivery schedule will be conducted via text message. Volunteers needed on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays to pick up boxed meals from Community Through Hope Warehouse between 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM then deliver the boxes to the Imperial Beach Neighborhood Center for distribution to the homeless. Volunteers must have their own vehicle. Volunteers are also asked to help bag up meals for the McAlister Institute to be given out to the homeless in Chula Vista. Community Through Hope Warehouse is located at 465 C Street, Chula Vista, California 91910 (619) 915-7256 - Office / (619) 915-7257 - Warehouse. Imperial Beach Neighborhood Center is located at 455 Palm Avenue, Imperial Beach, California 91932 (619) 373-2283 Cell Phone for Jose' Griffin-Atil, Boxed Meal Coordinator. Jose' Griffin-Atil will contact volunteers via text message to confirm schedule pick-up & deliver schedule.
