Help Elderly Patients and Families in New Ways during COVID19!

As the community starts to open back up there are still Hospice Patients and families stuck indoors and at home... Use your time to provide "Practical Support" to Hospice Patients and Families that can't get back out there quite yet!

Help out some of most effected by COVID19 restrictions: Hospice Patients and Families-- We are looking for volunteers to assist with practical support. Its easy, kind, and you might already be doing for yourself!
- Go grocery shopping and errand running (while you're already out!)
- Do check in calls or write letters with a patient who hasn’t left their home in weeks.
- Provide chore assistance support with law mowing, dog walking, or garden clean-ups.
- Do birthday and holiday drop-offs to patients shut-in or restricted at nursing homes and/or assisted livings.
**All of these activities can be done from a safe social distance with proper PPE (personal protection equipment) such as masks and gloves.

Volunteers are provided with training, team support, opportunities for continued education, volunteer appreciation events, PPE for home visits and errand running, and so much gratitude from patients and families it could fill a bucket!
