The Thaddeus Resource Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to restore HOPE, inspire GROWTH, and EMPOWER girls and women through education, life skill development, workforce training, and other supportive services.
Job Descriptio n:
As a pick-up volunteer for Thaddeus you will be assisting with the receiving/delivering of donated bread from Panera. This position is very rewarding as you will help us give to people in the community who are in need or less fortunate. The volunteer will learn to communicate and maintain relationships with outsource entities and donors.
Time Commitment:
- Must be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays between 9:45pm - 10:30pm
- Must be able to commit to this 1-year volunteer opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Answer and make phone calls
- Drive to locations assigned
- Deliver and receive bread from Panera Bread to assigned locations
- Represent Thaddeus in a professional manner
- Keep record of invoices sent and received
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Able to multi - task, prioritize, and meet deadlines daily
- Able to be empathetic, calm, caring, and supportive
- Able to demonstrate strong time management skills
- Have a valid California License
- Have reliable transportation
- Be flexible
- Ability to pass the mandated reporter exam
