We’ve got who-zits & what-zits a-plenty in the PNA Tool Library! We are looking for volunteers with strong customer service and computer skills, for this volunteer position in our popular Tool Library. Volunteers will check membership status, check tools out and in, and collect donations. This is an in-person opportunity.

The PNA Tool Library is open Mondays from 5 to 7PM (shift from 5 to 7PM), Fridays from 3 to 5PM (volunteer shifts from 2:45 to 5:15PM) and Saturdays from 9 to 1PM (volunteer shifts from 9 to 11AM and 11AM to 1PM), and will expand hours as our volunteer staff and demand increase.

Some experience will tools helpful, but not required. Volunteer application, background check, confidentiality form and training required. 6+ month committed strongly preferred.

The mission of the Phinney Neighborhood Association is to build community by providing programs, services, & activities aimed at connecting neighbors and fostering civic involvement in our diverse community.

Description

Our programs include a hot meal program, a senior center, pre-school co-ops, before- and after-school programs for kids, an art gallery, and a DIY Hub including a tool rental library and Community Woodshop. We host community events throughout the year, including a Winter Festival, two beer tastes, a wine taste, Day of the Dead and Holi celebrations, book exchange events, Bingo/Karaoke parties, small community potlucks, a crochet group, concerts for families, and more.
