Our Goal:
Prosper Placer is both a support system to help families move out of poverty as well as a community improvement process. We sere families and individuals living in situational or generational poverty and who are highly motivated to move from surviving to thriving.
The keystone to success:
The keystone of Prosper Placer is the involvement of volunteer allies who meet with a family regularly to support the completion of goals, help with problem solving, and point towards resources that families can utilize along the way.
Quote from one of our families:
"The most meaningful part, the part that I cherish and that made me want to keep coming back was the relationship we built in the very first few weeks of Prosper Placer, getting to know new people. Because of Prosper Placer our family is 100% thriving, and we are out of poverty."
