The Help Show is a podcast dedicated to connecting individuals to mental health care community resources.
This opportunity volunteering for The Help Show will allow volunteers to
- Increase awareness of mental health in Texas and its surrounding to an outreach of 10,000 individuals monthly during the program period.
- Assist at least 500 direct beneficiaries via provider partnerships of mental health issues monthly based on their specific cases during the program period.
- Connect the community to local and national mental health resources such as content and partner facilities.
- Reduce the stigma associated with mental health illness, such as bipolar among many others.
- Encourage the expression of emotions through our live programs and online content as a way of promoting mental wellbeing.
- Provide mental health support to the victims of Covid 19 through outreach and counseling services.
- Provide mental health support to victims of abuse to steer healing, forgiveness and regaining normal lives.

The Help Show is a podcast dedicated to connecting individuals to mental health care community resources.
Description
The Help Show’s is a monthly podcast hosted by founder NiEtta Reynolds and co-hosted by a prominent psychiatrist in Dallas, Texas. It involves discussing current health care topics and tips for managing mental health concerns, and ways to help the community get the care they need. The Help Show also works with educational institutions, counselors, and other mental health care providers to assist with mental health issues and support victims of abuse.
Our 2022/ 2023 program incorporates outreach to the community of Texas through the online podcast, where we will dive into the different topics of mental health on a weekly basis. This will include engaging different subject matter experts who can speak about their experience, different topics, and resources for how and where to get help if affected. We will also be creating awareness against stigma and how to live a normal life even if one has a mental health condition.
