Outdoors: School and office air conditioners
Still Creek Ranch
On campus our air conditioners are surrounded by weeds and more weeds. Would like to clear a perimeter around the ac units, put down weed block and then cover with rock. Much of the area already has weed block in place need strong people to use shovels and wheelbarrow to move rock. Need more landscape fabric in place before placing rock.
This would decrease our long term maintenance cost of mowing and weed eating.

Description
Since 1988 Still Creek has rescued boys and girls from crisis environments including abuse, neglect, abandonment, and sexual exploitation, placing them in safe, loving, Christ-centered homes. We do not take any government funding but instead we operate exclusively through donations and are completely debt-free. This allows us the freedom to use Christ-centered principles in the care and healing of our children.
Our mission is to rescue boys and girls from crisis environments and to restore their lives by placing them in a family-style home environment, and through our accredited boarding school, Bible-based counseling, TCAL athletics, fine arts, and our equestrian and agricultural programs.
Instead of extending pity toward our children for their devastating past, we create an environment for them to be empowered by their story, yet without allowing them to be defined by their past wounds. We do this by establishing a model of healing from the inside out; we challenge the child to peel back the layers of hurt inside their heart by creating an opportunity to break the chains of their past and usher in authentic healing and restoration for their future.
