Mission Statement

"Still Creek Ranch's mission is to rescue at-risk children and raise them to be anchored in hope, restored through Christ, and equipped for life. We seek to have a multi-generational impact by breaking the cycle of crisis and empowering them to make Biblical decisions, have healthy relationships, and reach their full God-given potential."

Description

​Since 1988 Still Creek has rescued boys and girls from crisis environments including abuse, neglect, abandonment, and sexual exploitation, placing them in safe, loving, Christ-centered homes. We do not take any government funding but instead we operate exclusively through donations and are completely debt-free. This allows us the freedom to use Christ-centered principles in the care and healing of our children.​

Our mission is to rescue boys and girls from crisis environments and to restore their lives by placing them in a family-style home environment, and through our accredited boarding school, Bible-based counseling, TCAL athletics, fine arts, and our equestrian and agricultural programs.

Instead of extending pity toward our children for their devastating past, we create an environment for them to be empowered by their story, yet without allowing them to be defined by their past wounds. We do this by establishing a model of healing from the inside out; we challenge the child to peel back the layers of hurt inside their heart by creating an opportunity to break the chains of their past and usher in authentic healing and restoration for their future.

Still Creek is an amazing program to begin with. Their mission of creating a family and home environment for children who need it most is amazing. The fact that they are faith based as well and strive to provide these kids with amazing childhood memories is amazing! They love what they do! Volunteering with this is also easy and they are very quick to respond and help match us with projects that they need assistance with. There's no wasted time, we get to serve those who are sacrificially serving those children everyday! Couldn't ask for a better way to give of my time!

I have volunteered at Still Creek Ranch doing various jobs and have loved every second of it! The ministry of Still Creek is incredible along with everyone that works out there. I enjoy going out to the ranch as often as possible because you can actually see the Lord working in so many different ways!

I have volunteered at Still Creek Ranch for three and a half years at the arena. I have enjoyed getting to know the staff and feeling like a blessing to them! The kids are a joy to work with, and I look forward to coming out each week. The Arena Director is easy to work with when scheduling conflicts come up, and she makes me feel genuinely needed and appreciated. This place is doing God's work, and it is a joy to be a part of!
