The Alzheimer's Association of Central and Western Virginia is looking for volunteer leaders who would like to participate in The Longest Day, a signature fundraising event that helps to fund free support services and educational programs to local families in need!
The Longest Day is all about doing something you love in honor of those you love. Take a favorite activity and mold it into a fundraiser with the help of your area The Longest Day staff partner. Description
The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
