The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-quality music education, performance opportunities, and fine art. We aim to inspire, empower, and uplift communities by fostering a love for music and the arts through our commitment to education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact, which drives us to expand our reach continually and enrich the lives of those we serve.
We’re looking for a CPA to join our growing team!
What you’ll do:
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports for our company
- Organize and update financial records as needed (digital and physical)
- Guide financial decision-making and enhance the overall financial health of the organization
- Participate in budgeting processes
- Verify and ensure financial data is entered correctly and accurately
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including ethics, conduct, and safe working expectations
What we’re looking for:
- Active Certified Public Accountant license
- Experience in accounting or related fields
- Experience with accounting software(e.g. Quickbooks)
- Possession of excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to prepare periodic invoices, funder reports, graphs, or other required statements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field

Mission Statement
We strive to make fine art readily available to anyone who wishes to experience it, even when unable to do so financially. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) produces annual benefit concerts, shows, and performances. These experiences are open for all community members. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) exercises: artistic, comedic, and musical channels to bring soothing to children hospitals, hospices, shelters for the homeless, nursing homes, and various other entities full of people in need of assuagement. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) has partnered with The Donovan's Piano Room to host weekly online lessons to students who wish to learn music, music theory, sight-reading, and musical techniques, even when they can't afford to do so.
