Verdugo Hospice Care Center is recruiting volunteers for our new Volunteer Phone Service. The strain of the COVID-19 pandemic has made the already lonely experience of being a hospice patient even worse. To address this, we have made our hospice volunteer service over the phone. Volunteers accrue volunteer hours by being on call and talking to any patients and family members who call in to the service. This opportunity can be performed entirely remotely and full training is provided.
