We are looking for volunteers to drop off food packages to members of our community in the Brighton area and surrounding zip codes. These members include those who are high risk for COVID-19 are unable to leave their homes. Deliveries are conducted on Wednesdays with shifts available at 9:30am , 10am and 10:30am. We ask that each volunteer is able to commit to 2 hours although it generally takes about an hour or so. Each volunteer can expect to deliver approx. 3-6 deliveries each shift. The items being delivered are pre-assembled bags or box of grocery food items.(Each package is pre-assembled by the BFC coordinators. The BFC will prove gloves to volunteers and procedures are in place to limit contact as much as possible by organizing this as a "drop off" assignment. Volunteers will need to provide their own transportation. We are looking for "regular" volunteers (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) We will still schedule volunteers for single shifts if unable to commit to consistent schedule.
