Check a Suit. Change a Life. A single suit has the influence to change lives. And as a Donation Center volunteer, you will have the opportunity to change thousands...one suit at a time We need your help to ensure that our clients receive nothing but the best. As a Donation Center volunteer, you will be assigned to tasks such as sorting donations, sizing, tagging and assisting with tours. Help us provide our clients with the gifts of confidence, dignity, and hope.
Can you spot a diamond in the rough? Do you love to organize? Put your skills to the test and help Working Wardrobes make the best first impression on our clients and donors: by checking a suit you can change a life!
Qualifications:
Must have a friendly and helpful attitude.
Must be able to lift above your shoulders and stand for a period of time.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Safety Measures: Our donation center is a large warehouse with plenty of space for social distancing. There is a PPE station equipped with masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. All volunteers will be temperature checked upon arrival. We do ask that volunteers are able to stand for long periods of time and lift/push/pull a moderate amount of weight. Clothes are transported around the warehouse on clothing racks and bins.
Shifts and Dates vary based on availability. Tuesday - Saturday 9:00am - Noon, 11:00am-1:00pm, Noon-3pm. Tuesday - Friday 2:30pm-4:30pm shift also available. For more information please contact Bianca Herrera, Volunteer & Internship Manager.
