About the Role: The Working Wardrobes Retail Stores in Garden Grove and Costa Mesa are staffed by driven, passionate, fun-loving retail volunteers with a strong sense of style and a desire to give back to their community. $0.87 of every dollar in sales benefits Working Wardrobes programs and services! Responsibilities: Greeting customers in a timely, professional, and engaging manner. Performing daily store operation tasks such as stocking, re-merchandising, assisting with display arrangements, adjusting price markdowns, and light cleaning. Engaging cooperatively with retail staff to create a welcoming and pleasant customer service experience. Qualifications: Ability to stand for periods of time. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 15lbs. Possess a friendly and helpful attitude. Possess communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact and engage with retail staff and customers. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Customer service experience and knowledge/enthusiasm about fashion are a PLUS! Time Commitment: 2-4 days/week; 4 hrs/day. Tuesday - Saturday; mid-day availability. (Stores currently open 11am-6pm)

You Could Be a Personal Stylist and Work with Young Adults!

Similarly to our weekly, regular Personal Stylist, this volunteer role will provide wardrobe services for clients by helping them pick out the perfect outfit to gain confidence and build self-esteem! If you've ever been curious to see what it's like to be a one-day stylist, then we have a fun volunteer opportunity for you! Working Wardrobes has partnered with several young adult educational programs from around Orange County to provide wardrobing services to their program participants! In acting in this volunteer role, you'll be working one-on-one or with two young adults by helping them pick out the perfect outfit for a job interview or to elevate their workplace style! This opportunity takes place in the Wardrobe Center located in our Career Success Center in Santa Ana! Working Wardrobes is looking to make additions to our Front Desk/Administrative Support Volunteer Team! Our amazing team of volunteers in our Career Success Center serve as the first point of contact to all who enter through the doors of our organization! These bright, committed individuals support our WW staff daily by greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and even helping staff on several administrative/clerical projects throughout the day! This volunteer role works closely with the Administrative Manager and the Volunteer Coordinator and asks for a time commitment of 2+ hours weekly. All 18 & older are welcome to sign up and training will be provided! If you're interested in learning and developing your skillset and experience or want to support us in our mission, volunteer today!
