We have joined the California for All movement with a partnership with Listos California to help our community prepare for emergencies and disasters.
With many of us now sheltering in place, it is a great time to create or update our emergency/disaster preparedness plans. Fire season is here, and we can all help build a more resilient Santa Cruz County by preparing now.
Do you, your family or household have an emergency/disaster preparedness plan? Do you know where you will meet up if you have to evacuate? Do you, your family or household have a communication plan? Are you signed up for Code Red Alerts? Is there someone in your household that relies on electric and/or gas power for a medical necessity?
We have developed informative, simple and easy to use disaster preparedness planning material to help you develop your plans and sign up for alerts in as little as 30 minutes.
We will mail or email you the material, review it with you by phone or online video meeting and give you the tools to prepare.
