Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
Are you 55 +?
This opportunity: RSVP volunteers are needed to help seniors out with their beloved furry friends with our partner agency which has opportunities throughout the tri county area. Be a part of the solution to care for seniors' pets when they are unable to do so, or volunteer to spread the word on pet adoptions with tabling events.
RSVP volunteers, aged 55+, choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments usually just a few hours per week. They can choose opportunities that best fit their active lifestyles and use skills they have honed through their life and job experience - or try their hand at something completely new and different! RSVP volunteers benefit because they feel productive in their community, as well as having the satisfaction of making a difference.
Being a part of the RSVP movement means that more of the collective power of those 55+ making a difference in our local communities can be recognized on a national level. Contact us to hear more about this and other opportunities and to become an RSVP member! rsvp@scvolunteercenter.org
