The Neighbors’ food shelf provides food to more than 600 families each month and most of the food is donated by area grocery stores. Food Rescue drivers make it possible for Neighbors to receive these donations by picking up the food at the stores and transporting it to Neighbors. Volunteers are trained for needed routes to one (or more) of our 8 partnering groceries with policies and procedures specific to the store as well as food safety guidelines.
We are currently seeking volunteers to help with morning pickups on Monday and Wednesdays in Inver Grove Heights at 8:00 am and dropping food off at our location in South St. Paul
