Facebook Group Coordinator

AZSA is looking for a Facebook Group Coordinator to join the Marketing and Communications Team. You will manage all posts and comments on the Facebook Group. You should be a 'people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our Facebook Group. You will develop creative strategies to promote AZSA, drive member growth, and increase traffic on our Facebook Group.

AZSA's Facebook Group

AZSA started through the Facebook Group before we ever established our Facebook Page and Website. As our organization grew, we shifted our focus to our Facebook Page which has left the Facebook Group unmonitored. The goal is to facilitate engaging conversations and monitor members' posts and comments.

Responsibilities

Include some or all of the following:

  • Facilitate conversations on Facebook Group with its members and respond to queries
  • Create a Topic-Focused Community
  • Create engaging content, including blog pieces, articles, social media posts, newsletters, and videos
  • Develop a content plan
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective members
  • Work with priority leaders across several areas to help promote their message and events
  • Monitor all posts and comments
  • Stay up to date with current content that members are interested in
  • Work with communications and branding teams to ensure messaging is positive, consistent and adheres to AZSA best practices

Ideal Skill Set

  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Expertise of Facebook
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques
  • Able to work independently or in a team

Time commitment: Approximately 5-10 Hours Per Week
