United Blood Systems is now Vitalant.

Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is one of the nation's oldest and largest nonprofit transfusion medicine organizations.

There is a constant need for blood - in fact, nearly 5,000 donations are needed each day to meet the needs of people throughout the country. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Every year, nearly 5 million Americans depend on blood transfusions.

Donor Registration -
We are looking for individuals interested in helping us on Thursdays, between 11:00 am-6:00 pm. Help with checking in donors, handing out refreshments, and post donation care.

Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
