The AmeriCorps NatureHoods Coordinator will serve at Children's Forest of Central Oregon by developing and implementing opportunities for local students and families to engage with and learn about nature in their schoolyard and local parks. The position will facilitate learning in "nearby nature" for students and families, with the primary responsibility to deliver a 4 week NatureHoods program for K-2 nd grade students across Central Oregon. With the ever changing realities of COVID-19, this position will may shift to developing and delivering nature-based distance-learning for a variety of audiences.
