Would you like to be part of a global response to the COVID-19 pandemic? We are looking for volunteers to help us with social media for our sessions launching a report with the Deputy Secretary-General Ms. Amina Mohammed on 8 th July.
COVID-19 has presented the world with a new challenge. Social innovators around the world are responding en masse. Coordination, partnership and policy change is needed more than ever.
To rise up to this challenge, Catalyst 2030, with the support of Ashoka, Echoing Green, Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and the Skoll Foundation, have launched the Catalysing Change campaign, which was conceptualized across the network to surface issues and expedite systems change. It is a series of virtual sessions aimed at:
- Sharing how social innovators are responding to COVID-19,
- Forming collaborative partnerships that can accelerate social change,
- Co-creating policy recommendations based on the extensive expertise of the social innovators,
- Initiating dialogue with policy makers, funders and leaders across sectors.
The key learnings from the campaign has been compiled into a document which will be shared with the UN Deputy Secretary-General Ms. Amina Mohammed on the 8 th July and other heads of states and concerned persons who can leverage the expertise from the social entrepreneurs, the proposed scalable solutions and policy recommendations throughout July, August & September leading up to the UN General Assembly.
We are looking for volunteers who can create and distribute social media content to boost support for these high-level sessions. All sessions will be run through Zoom. This voluntary position is online and will carried out remotely.
