Help feed hungry children and families!

Help get food to hungry people during this COVID 19 crisis. Volunteers are needed to pack food bags, unload trucks, distribute food and more. Shifts are available Monday through Friday in our Food Distribution building. Dress code is comfortable, conservative and casual which means no really short shorts, spandex or tank tops please. Closed toed shoes are required for safety and comfort. Personal protective equipment is supplied and social distancing is practiced. Mission Statement

The Salvation Army Fort Myers Area Command includes many locations offering multiple programs and services. Facilities include a residential shelter, Red Shield Community Resource Center, Outreach Centers in Bonita Springs, LaBelle, and Lehigh Acres, a Worship and Administration center. Programs include a comprehensive care program, family shelter, a correctional services program, a food services program which includes evening meals for the homeless and needy, crisis management for those on the verge of homelessness, an Angel Tree outreach ministry to disadvantaged homes in the area, and more. These social service programs help thousands of people each year and are very rewarding to be involved with.
