Thousands of California kids need help in reading and math and you can make all the difference. Offer your time and talent as a tutor and be more for students in schools in California.
As an Early Learning Tutor, you’ll help Pre-K students become better learners. With great training and on-site coaching, we’ll prepare you to work one-on-one, in small groups, or with the entire class to help kids develop their learning skills and confidence! Students make the most progress when you are there, so our tutors serve in person, during school hours, and are needed for the whole school year.
We are currently recruiting for the 2024-25 school year. Service will begin in August, 2024. Service commitment lasts through June, 2025.
This is an AmeriCorps member position with California Reading and Math Corps. Although the earnings are modest, the rewards are great! You’ll join an amazing group of California tutors, determined to help students be more.
