Kitchens for Good works to combat hunger by preparing and distributing over 288,000 prepared, scratch-made meals annually throughout San Diego. In partnership with local food assistance and community organizations, Kitchens for Good meals feed people without access to affordable, nutritious food: children, seniors, and the unsheltered.
While Apprentices and KFG's culinary team of alumni prepare these meals from scratch in the kitchen, we require your help to assemble them! At Meal Prep for Good volunteers assist with assembling of these hunger relief meals by choosing to either portion or package.
Shifts are Monday through Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM.
