Recruiting Tutors and Classroom Assistants for Fall 2020 --Any Subject, Any Grade

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: San Francisco Education Fund

Volunteers work with students of any age.
Read a story to a classroom and captivate the students' imaginations.

Every student needs someone who believes in them, who acts as a cheerleader and says, "You can do this!" Here in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), volunteers are needed in just about every subject. Spend one hour, once a week sharing your skills with a public school student.

Read with an elementary school student or practice math with a middle schooler, encourage the arts or emphasize STEM.

San Francisco public school students have been hit hard by the pandemic. Research shows that students will face an academic deficit next year. SFUSD instruction will begin August 17th. We suspect volunteering will be virtual to begin the school year and may or may not be in-school depending on COVID.

Help students get back on the path to academic success!
