During this time, children in remote areas are suffering from a lack of education because their schools are shut down or have limited access. Village Book Builders is looking for mentors to tutor and aid children on their path to success. We give our volunteers the unique opportunity to foster long-lasting and impactful relationships with students across the globe.
Once you have applied we will guide you through a training course, introduce you to your mentor leader, connect you with fellow mentors, and provide you with resources to help you be successful. We will coordinate a 30-minute weekly time for you to connect with your mentee online. An experienced mentor will introduce you to your student and guide you through your first session together.
During your sessions, you will have the chance to read with them, encourage them, and help them with their schoolwork. We will be there the whole time to help you to be successful.
Village Book Builders is passionate about giving all children an opportunity to gain an education. We travel around the world to build libraries and establish mentor programs for small communities. By aiding as a mentor, you will be able to help our cause expand and support more children around the world. These children need you to be the Motivator-Mentor in their lives, so they can have hope for the future. The real reward of volunteering, however, comes from the experiences obtained.
