Mission Statement

Empowering villages by establishing libraries to create hope in ending the cycle of poverty.

Description

Our mission is to instill a generational difference among villages around the world by bringing hope through books. We have village libraries all over the world including in Peru, Nepal, Belize, Ghana, and more. You can work with us internationally by working in one of our libraries, or you can work with us domestically by helping coordinate new library opportunities.

I encourage you to visit their library, talk to the children, and see the magic firsthand. They are deserving of your support, whether it's through volunteering, donations, or simply spreading the word about their amazing work. They build and operate libraris around the world, they give opportunity for Underprivileged Youth. It´s little but mighty!!!

They have never reached out to me just to say...'thank you for your time'. This is not the first time with the listing NGOs, but it is kinda disrespectful anyway. They take your time and demand a bunch of things as they would pay for your services; however, in the end, they act unprofessionally.

VBB is an amazing place to volunteer because its mission is truly authentic and if you have a passion for education, VBB will leave you more than impressed. I would definitely ask a friend to volunteer in the future.
