Covington First United Methodist Church Food Ministry is distributing free food boxes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and third Saturday of the month at the Food Pantry, Senior in-home deliveries on Tuesdays, and mobile food pantry first Saturday of the month.

Our greatest need right now is volunteers! There are times available to help pack boxes, load vehicles, register guests, and deliver boxes to senior citizens.

Volunteer Shifts: Please check out the links below to sign up. We no longer have an age cap for volunteers, although we do recommend that before signing up you consult with your physician if you are over age 65 and/or have underlying health conditions. We are following all CDC recommendations for community organizations and high risk providers.

At Home Projects If you are not able to volunteer in person at this time, we have projects with data entry (Oasis training required), making emergency bags with donations we have already collected, and making Super Packs with food that you purchase. For our Super Pack project, we are working with Action Ministries to develop our collection and distribution plan since the school system plans are changing. While we are working on those plans, we encourage you to continue working on Super Packs, and we will let you know when we have drop off scheduled.
