AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care of Pasco County is looking for Vigil Volunteers to join our team! Do you believe no one should die alone? Do you have a special place in your heart for patients with a terminal illness? Would you find it gratifying to sit at their bed side to support them during their last days? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this opportunity is right for you! Volunteer services are available throughout all of Pasco County.
AccentCare offers special training to our Vigil Volunteers to ensure you are equipped to provide excellent and compassionate service when with the patient and their family. You must volunteer for six months to be eligible for training, and complete basic onboarding and background checks.

Description
AccentCare Hospice has been serving patients in Pasco County since April 15th, 2020. We provide in-home end of life care wherever the patient resides, be it a private residence, assisted living or skilled nursing facility, or memory care. Our staff includes physicians, nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, music therapists, and volunteers who all work together to care for the patient and their family. We believe that everyone deserves a dignified and peaceful death, and that no one should die alone.
