NEED BIG DOG FOSTERS! LA Area we need your love!
Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue
Ace of Hearts is a non-profit rescue that saves dogs who are in danger of being euthanized at local shelters due to over crowding. We believe in placing dogs in homes and not kennels, and we rely on a network of fosters to help us save lives! We desperately need your help by providing them with a loving home until they're adopted and we'll provide everything else - vet care, a bed, food, treats, toys, a leash, collar and we'll even pay you! We especially need fosters right now who can take in dogs that have to be an only pet in the household.
Being accepted into our foster program is an extremely rewarding experience - you get to help rehabilitate dogs that were left to die at the shelter and provide us with information on their personalities to help find their forever homes!
What we need from you:
-To be 21+ (if under 21, then to have parent approval)
-To foster for at least 4 weeks - but if you can only do 2, we'll take that too!
-To have reliable transportation and be able to bring them to our adoption event in West Hollywood once a month and to a vet of our choice
-To be comfortable with bigger breeds! We're a bully breed rescue and most of our pups weigh 50-90 pounds. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY IF YOU CAN ONLY DO SMALL DOGS.
-To be able to start immediately
-To have already discussed this with all landlords/managers/spouses etc. and have their approval, please don't contact us without it
-If you have experience and feel comfortable with dog-aggressive dogs, that is a HUGE PLUS!!
If you're interested in joining our life saving team, please provide your phone number AND your email address so we can contact you! WE DO NOT REPLY TO PEOPLE WHO DO NOT INCLUDE BOTH EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER.
About Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue
PO Box 2357, Beverly Hills, CA 90213, US
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs.
Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs, enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
