COVID-19 Help: Food Box Distribution Drive-Thru/Walk-Thru

The Salvation Army - San Jose, CA

Volunteers will load food boxes, frozen meat into cars during drive-thru. Clients remain in cars at all times. Walk-Thru Clients wait in line using social distancing and pack their own boxes into carts or walker. Volunteer can opt to help pack if Client is struggling.

Age Requirements: 16 or older

Social Distancing, wearing of face masks, gloves and all guidelines associated with COVID-19 will be followed.

The Food Box Distribution Drive-Thru and Walk-Thru is in compliance to social distancing while continuing to provide food to Seniors, Homeless and Families during COVID-19. Assistance in this program has more than doubled as more people face job loss and reduced working hours.
